Now, my EX-husband totally could have suggested this, and this is why he is 1) my ex, and 2) he's pushing 50, broke, with horrible credit, and struggling financially. Bad decisions made over and over again. Thank god I got out of this train wreck when I did. My husband and I take vacations when we can afford them - it doesn't depend on the tax refund coming in. If we feel we need a vacation, we look at our finances and make a judgment of whether or not splurging on some time off is a good idea. I live in the northeast and those are the easiest and quickest to get to. Also check to see if there are any direct flights to any islands from the airport that is closest to you.
