You’d love to do that too, but in reality you know the credit cards need to be paid down, there are bills to catch up and some minor car repairs and that it would also be a good idea to save some of the money. You don’t want to be a party pooper or spoil your spouse’s fantasy so you:
a. Tell your spouse that you would also love to go to the tropics and spend time together, but that you just don’t feel that it is responsible at this point. You suggest instead, starting a savings account with some of the tax return so that maybe by next year you can afford the trip, and then paying down your credit cards with the rest of the money for this year.
b. Paying down credit cards is no fun! Life is short. Get on the computer and start making flight and hotel reservations!
c. Tell your spouse that a vacation in the tropics is like living in dreamland! Get real! It’s really immature to think about traveling when the economy is so bad right now and you can barely afford gasoline!
d. Don’t talk to your spouse about it at all, and pay down the credit cards without your spouse knowing. It’s what is good for you and your spouse anyway, and you don’t want your spouse to talk you out of it!
e. get angry that your spouse even suggested such a waste of time and money.

I have been on crusies before, and love them. What I didnt love was the 0 bill for booze I accumulated at the end of the trip. Is there a such thing as an all inclusive cruiseline?
If not, does anyone have any suggestions of all inclusive resorts that are reasonably priced in the caribbean? Some background I am 22, will be traveling with my boyfriend and other friends. The cruise is so fast paced, I am afraid at a resort I will get bored after 2 days. anyone have any advice?
